Of course we love the lantern, but we really love the customer service!Our lantern arrived broken. In two days we had this one. The customer service experience was flawless.As the picture shows, we ordered the red lamp. The blue looks really nice also, but that red is more the ambiance on our back patio.I hope our picture does this beautiful lamp justice; like many others who have reviewed this lamp we also think it is a beautiful piece. I am a little picky about one design piece however, and that being the rope handle. It both feels out of place and just a tad too big and thick. That's not a big deal though because that rope is really only visible during the day - which is also when no one is really paying attention to it. In the dark it's not very noticeable, so like I said not a big deal.If SIDENUO were to make to version 2.0 of this lamp, they may want to reconsider the rope handle design.We don't use this lamp as a main outdoor table light or similar, as we have hanging patio lights, but more for decoration. Because of that, we find its brightness to match our needs. Ensuring daily charge is not really a daily task either, as we just leave our solar lanterns outside 24/7 to passively absorb as much light as available during the day. However long the lantern stays on from that charge is exactly what we expect.We would strongly recommend the SIDENUO lantern brand to our friends and family (and even this lantern specifically) and rate it all five stars!Wonder if it will light up dome areas at all ..This light really adds dazzle to the patio as seen here. I really love it. My only issue is that it doesn't seem to stay on as long as my other solar lights. All in all though, it's great!Subtle solar light for the gardenThis solar garden lantern is very pretty. It comes with a rope handle to hang it but that would defeat the purpose of the design as the bottom of the jar is completely clear. So this is the type of thing that really needs to be placed on a solid surface for it to look very pretty - and not hung. So I don’t really get the purpose of the rope handle unless you’re going to use it to move this around a lot. The rope is easy enough to just take off - it’s kind of like a little hook and loop - so that is what I did. Because again this does not look right when it is hung.It came pretty well charged but I charged it in bright sun all day anyway. Then when night time came it did turn itself on. The thing is it’s not very very bright. It’s pretty but it’s not as bright as I would like. So in pitch darkness you can see it very nicely but with ambient light, as I live in the city, it still looks pretty, but again it’s not as bright and eye-catching as it is in pitch darkness.Still very nice and very nicely made.This lamp looks good, and is fairly bright, although it does seem to need a lot of sunlight to run well. It's a very simple mason jar shape with a thick rope for hanging. I have it hanging from a grill gazebo, where it makes a good waypoint between the backyard and the path to the gate. It's a nice addition to our backyard!This lantern is very pretty. The glass jar has a beautiful mosaic on the outside, and the colors are very bright and vibrant. It is nice looking even during the day, but once the small solar light is turned on at dusk/dark the colorful glow is very nice. Thick rope handle makes it easy to hang if that is your preference. You just unscrew the lid to switch the light on/off. Would make a great gift.This solar lantern looks exactly as it shows on the product page. It basically looks and feels like a mason jar with a thick rope to allow you the option to hang it. The mosaic pattern looks nice in the daylight, but it looks even better when the sun goes down. I have mine in a spot that is slightly shaded, but it still manages to absorb a good amount of sun during the day to look beautiful at night. The screw top lid is easy to remove so you can turn the light on or off. It works perfectly when left to sit in the sun. It comes on automatically when it gets dark and seems to last well into the night. I love the colorful mosaic patterns it puts off around it. I love this addition to my yard and I would recommend it to others. I think this would make a good gift as well.
