I got this and charged it right away. Waited that night, and it didn't turn on. I was so frustrated. Finally went back to the order and realized there is a switch you need too turn on. Read directions. Ughh. It works great and looks beautiful. TyGreat price and very unique. I have received many compliments. Looks like real torches. Will buy again!NaOne of the eight lights does not work, Have it placed in direct sun all day turned it on & off &on & off will not light at night in the dark. All others work fine.LOOKS GOODJUNK!!!How have we made it to 2021 just to find that LED solar torches are a somewhat new thing? We've had LEDs for ages, ditto for solar collectors, and humankind has ALWAYS loved ourselves some fire/flames/torches. Why has it taken us so many years to combine these ingredients into such a beloved peanutbutter-cup of yard decor? So yes, I love solar torches. We've been amassing these things since just before the pandemic, but we've taken it too far, I think. Just a guess, but we've got 15-20 of them in the yard plus a good set of them for our RV.My take-away for this set is that these units really haven't progressed much since solar torches came about. So many of the others have made advances like brackets to secure them to a fence, but not these. Frankly, the tent pegs and plastic poles really aren't a very good mounting mechanism. But they are what they are. And they're still pretty cool.Buying them in an eight-pack makes them a pretty good deal, but not crazy cheap. Frankly, I've seen lower priced sets here on Amazon. And all in all, I figured they'd be more affordable by now. Oh well. I still love solar torches. This is a nice set of flickering flame solar powered lights for the lawn. They are on the larger side and look amazing close up and at a distance. At first glance the flame looks real. The only downside is that the power button is inside and you have to squeeze your finger through the opening on the side to hit the switch. They charge up using the sun during the day, and light up automatically at night when it gets dark. They have 3 pieces, and stay firmly in the ground. These are great lights if you want that fire look.
