I was looking for some extra lighting for my bathroom and wanted to get something fun and functional. I only plug these in when I’m doing my hair or makeup but not for too long as it does get a bit warm with the extra bulbs on me. These didn’t come with a remote so I can’t comment on that. All I can say is that they look good and sieve the purpose I want! I bought 2 sets for both bathrooms.These fit great on our balcony and have survived several rain and wind storms unscathed!Love the lights with the exception of the lightbulbs keep burning out I’ve gone through three bulbs in one week.Their the right length and bright bit not too brightI put them on my porch on my apartment building underneath the eve they look great a nice warm glow not too bright i can't wait until summertime to sit out enjoy the new lightsI used these lights to make a camping chandelier for us, they are nice and bright.Great for my patio which is on the small side but they are great not too bright and not too dim
