These little gems are absolutely perfect to add a bit of light outside along walkway or in yard for evening events. So beautiful, functional and create a very nice ambiance. They also look stunning without the stakes just sitting on the stone wall or steps. I would say about 1/4 of the lights no longer work. I purchased this set back in May. You get what you pay for. Cheaper is always better.I needed to replace 4 patio lanterns and decided to go with this rather inexpensive option. As expected they aren’t iron, just metal painted with flat paint, which can flake off easily if you’re not careful. Tangent itself is alright but the hardware it comes with is abysmal: one screw that attaches the roof of the lantern by screwing it in from the bottom seemed to have been filled with the same flat paint and a screw driver was useless to put it in. I ended up having to use some needle nose pliers to torque it in and move to the next one. Out of the four I purchased two had screws like that. Other than those issues, they’re decent lanterns for the price… just don’t expect 200-300 dollar quality from themSome of these may be defective out of the box. 2 of the 16 I ordered did not work, LED won't turn off in Sunlight. But overall they are niceBe careful when putting in the ground.Dislike plastic
