Great value. Works well so far.First, I wish that they had put some kind of lens, even plastic, in the frames. I truly believe that it would have made these lights MUCH more attractive. The blank and open black plastic frames really lack something in the aesthetics department.However, let's talk about the merits of this two pack set of solar powered LED lamps.One, they have THREE solar panels to harvest the energy of the sun and convert it to electricity, storing it in the onboard LIPO batteries. Next, the control of the lamps, you have three options:1) come on at low power at dusk and stay on until the battery runs out. (In my test, they went all night and were still on when I got up at sunrise the next day.)2)Come on at low power and go to bright when motion is detected and stay bright until 15 seconds have passed with no movement. Then go back to low power. (I tested this function and it works well. But didn't play with it all night.)And 3) Only come on when motion is detected, at full bright, my favorite, which worked very well, even at sunrise.The body of the light is very well made, the framework looking very familiar and housing the solar panels and photoelectric controls quite nicely.The LED lights are nice and bright. I haven't looked up the price of replacing them yet. They aren't the most common bulb. So, I hope they don't burn out any time soon.Mounting them is not a problem, as long as the surface you want to mount them to can be easily drilled. That's your only option. These lamps will NOT be mounted any other way.I haven't mounted these lamps yet. I don't think my wife likes the open framework that much. But, based on what they do and what they are, I can't find a single thing wrong with them. So, that earns five stars.Thank youI am having a tiny house built with full solar. I wanted motion sensor solar lights for the front door that are not spotlights. I don’t want to have to deal with the wiring into the house. I set it up outside to see if it works even though I don’t have the house yet. The light is plastic and there is no glass or anything to protect the bulb. It is a frame only. That being said unless you go up to it you can’t tell it is plastic. I may look at getting some plexiglass and putting it in somehow. However, unless rain really slants the bulb socket is protected by the top. You could still replace the bulb by reaching up through the bottom if I put plexiglass in the sides.I tried the first mode where it stays on dim mode and gets bright when it detects motion as well as mode two where it stays off and then comes on in bright mode when it detects motion. I have it set up at approximately the same height as you would normally have an outdoor light by the front door and it even detected my cat walking under it. It doesn’t seem to have a very long range. I got within 10 feet before the light went to bright mode in either setting. I wish it had a bit longer range so I would have light getting out of my car which won’t be parked that far from the front door. My car headlights stay on, though, for a short time. All in all I am happy with the purchase. I have only had these for a day and I will update my review if anything happens. There aren’t any reviews so I wanted to write what I thought on first appearances. I don’t know about longevity or durability yet.This is a fantastic and bright little light that goes well with my hardwired lights. I use it on the path to my gate to get in my backyard and I’m please with its repose, the amount of light it gives and it’s looks.Used mostly for decoration. Not quite the quality of a wired version.….UPDATE TO THIS POST….I was contacted about my concern and was sent out a replacement pair of lights. I’m happy to say these new lights work perfectly and I’m very happy with the customer service I receivedOne of the lights stopped working after about two weeks.I try troubleshooting and still doesn’t work. I’ve tried to get a hold of the company and nothing.No regret with this purchase, I get excited to see them on every night!
