Product def works better than I thought. Light last all night.Only issue is that I have a 4-5 bulbs stop working and they only gave 2 extra. I need more and no idea how to get themWe hung these lights on our patio and they look great and have decent brightness that can change intensities on the remote, which is great. We bought these specifically for the remote feature HOWEVER it seems like other patio lights and lamps with similar remotes work on each other.When I turn these lights off with the remote - it then turns on a floor lamp in my office.We came home from vacation and it seems a neighbor has remote patio lights which turned ours on the strobe feature annoying other neighbors.Be aware the remotes are sensitive and be sure to unplug the lights before leaving for an extended period of time to make sure they don't accidentally go on.Also, no one will ever use the blinking feature - it's intense. Would be nice if the lights removed this.So far so good! Got the lights hung up, used stainless steel cable to support them. Everything is working flawlessly so far! It was a nice addition to my backyard. ???I had very specific criteria in my search for bistro lights. They had to be long enough in length, have a remote control, and be solar powered. This was the only choice I could find that ticked all the boxes.So they are suitable for the most parts, but there are some definite drawbacks:-Biggest flaw is that there is no option to turn the lights on during the daytime. The sensor simply does not allow you to. Normally this would be fine, but the sensor isn't that sensitive and it has to be pretty darn dark outside before they turn on. I wish I could use these as the sun is setting. The manufacturer tells you to cover the panel with a cloth to allow it to turn on...but I imagine most people would mount the panel on their roof like we did to get sun exposure and so there's no cord hanging down your wall. So it's extremely impractical to have to climb on a ladder every time you want to do this.-Second is that the lightbulbs are not terribly bright. They are more for ambience VS giving off much light. I imagine a hardwired light set would be brighter.-I can't speak to how weatherproof this truly is since I am in So Cal and the weather is typically very nice here. However, what I can say is that the lights stopped responding to the remote after we had some windy weather. Because of the lack of instructions included in the set, I didn't know how to fix it.Turns out, I guess maybe the windy weather messed up the sensor maybe and disrupted the pairing of the remote with the panel. If this happens to you, hold + and - until your patio lights flash. This means they are paired again and your remote should be able to control the lights again. (Thanks to Amazon for helping me figure that out).All in all, the functionality of this product is not intuitive, even for people like me who generally can figure gadgets out. They really need to include instructions. I noticed other reviewers noted frustrations that seemed like a simple set of instructions would have helped with. All in all, they are nice, but don't know if I would repurchase. I would hope I can find something better by that time.UPDATE: The seller did reach out to me and told me they are trying to produce a new version of these lights, taking customer suggestions into account. I appreciate their concern, so a POSITIVE on their customer service!have had no luck getting in contact with company. came with dead bulbs and only 2 replacments. :( loosing a star for that rather major inconvenienceWhen we first put the lights up they were great! After about a week of them coming on every night, the bulbs in some of them started dimming and then eventually going out completely.
