I was going to return the umbrella because of no switch to turn on the lights. I set up the return and the manufacturer responded that the switch is on the end of one of the spines. Would not have looked there but there it is. The instruction sheet shows it on the pole, which is where other manufacturers put it. Otherwise seems like a decent product. None last long in the full sun as they fade and eventually fail. The only answer is to spend a lot more on a Sunbrella fabric umbrella.
