I live in the desert, where cactus plants grow like weeds, why would I want a plastic imitation? Because for whatever reason, we who live here love to decorate our yards with little solar powered pathlights and such. I saw this one and thought it would be perfect in the middle of my back yard where there is a cactus with sharp needles that people are always tripping over in the dark. I didn’t want anything bright or like a spotlight, just something that would sit there in the middle of the other similar plants. This one is reasonably realistic in the daytime so it blends in with the real thing and at night it can’t be missed. And that is the one point that may be an issue for some people and not at all for others.BRIGHTI was hopeful when I saw the tiny solar cell and no visible battery that the run time of this wouldn’t be very long and that turned out to be true – it start fading out after a couple of hours. But when it starts out it is very bright. You decide if that works for you, but for me it was just what I wanted, by about midnight or so it runs out of power and is off for the night.WHY FOUR STARSI believe that a five star product should be the best of class and this thing is pretty cheap looking and feeling but not in price – I can get similar ones in a local store for about two bucks each. That’s only part of the issue though, what lost them a point was that their description is very misleading, in several places they show several of these things together yet you only get one. If you got the set of six of them for twelve bucks that would be okay but they never make it really clear that those pictures aren’t what you get and they use the plural lights which means more than one. That and other questionable things earn them an average score unless the page is corrected.The lights do not charge. I contacted amazon because these were a gift. They made me contact the seller, as there is a warranty. The seller did not honor it! Seller was JINSHENG MY.
