I used this as a Christmas decoration around some flowers to add a nice touch. Simple to use and had a pretty good battery life.Made my centerpiece pop even more. Really happy with it and will definitely be ordering again.Lights arrived with a broken battery cover but, still worked. They seem to run through batteries quickly. Color is beautiful.Got these last year to put on my front-door wreath for Christmas. Timer works great, batteries lasted quite a while, no complaints. Back to order more since meet my expectations & have places for more without having to run extension cords to everything.In Fresno there is a group of bicycle riders that had similar if not the same products that they had attached to their bicycle wheels. We had to get some for our selves and armed with the knowledge that they had found them on Amazon searched for and found these, The length is perfect for fitting around one bicycle wheel with the battery box attached to the inside of the hub. I used duct tape to hold the wires and led's to the wheel rim. So far it is holding. The Joy is riding around at night time. The lights are super bright and look great. We get a lot of comments as we ride.The lights come as a set of parallel lacquered wires with LED's attached between them. They are a little unwieldy to work with and get tangled easily. I don't plan to remove and store them repeatedly but if I did I might worry about the wires fatiguing and breaking. They should last for a long time if they are installed and not moved. The product does say for indoor use only so I don't know how well they will work in wet weather.When you order $25 or more you also can get what seems to be the same product only it is green colored battery case and wire. They are about $1 cheaper and even a better deal. The sets of Blue LED's were slightly different in hue. One being a little more of a turquoise color (silver strands) than the other.So, I have this replica of an oil-burning ships' lantern. I wouldn't try lighting it for anything, 'cause I'm not sure how well it's soldered together, but I was catching suggestions that it needed to be lit as a Christmas decoration.After searching Amazon, I discovered RTGS made sets of 20 micro- LEDs powered by 3 AA batteries. After estimating the size of the battery pack, I purchased 4 sets: warm white, red, blue and green. The LEDs are on thin, silvery wire that bends easily into whatever configuration is useful, and from any distance over about 10 feet, the wires are all but invisible.I was able to stuff the lantern globe full of the red and green lights and tuck the battery-packs up into the metal chimney-shroud where they were out of sight but gave good access to the switches. The effect was a huge success! The lights look like tiny red-and-green constellations, and everyone was very happy with my efforts.The blue and white lights will allow the lantern to be used for various holidays. All 4 sets work and provide bright, pure-colored light. It's too early to know about the battery life yet, but the first sets I've installed have held up well, showing no signs of giving out after about 24 hrs of use so far. I'm very happy with these lights, I'd recommend them to anyone who wanted this kind of lighting, and I'd buy more in a heartbeat.At last... a one color LED light system that is super bright, uses 3 AA batteries with plenty of power and has a normal on/off switch. . Even in bright sunlight you can see these. For my bike I secured the battery pack under the bike seat then coiled the lights in loose coils tie wrapped under and below the seat. This put the lights out of harms way but they are still easy to see from the front back and sides. I considered securing it to the frame with clear packing tape, but opted for mounting under the seat. Then I realized this would fit inside clear fish tank air hose... oh well... will try that on the next bike, After seeing this in action I ordered two more for my other bikes. I have tried several blinking lights that go on bike spokes... most (except those fantastic little lights that go on the valve stem) were a bad joke for anything but a novelty. (I wanted good visibility without looking like a rolling disco). This light is good visibility with lots of uses and if your careful, lots of places (besides a bike) to use it!!There are SO MANY applications which these will be perfect for ! Definitely recommend these. Ordering more in the future !VERY professional company to deal with. MUCH appreciated !!
