I have had these light just under a year. So I’m currently lookin for a new set and decided to go ahead and review these lights. I live in Southern California so we don’t have harsh weather conditions to cause issues. About two months ago the lights started flickering really bad. I have checked all plugs etc to make sure nothing is loose. I am very disappointed that after a less than a year I’m having to replace this string.they are easier to install than the heavy duty light strings but still a pain and not something I want to have to do frequently. Also the app isn’t the best. It’s a bit odd and not user friendly. I wouldn’t purchase this light string. The lights are plastic if that matters. They did work and look great initially until the flickering started. Bummed I’m having to redo my lights.Good thing it’s October. I can just say it’s part of my Halloween decor lol.These are great, they were very easy to setup. The work with the Smart Life app which is what a lot of my other smart devices use so it was nice not to have to install yet another app. Works well with my Echos.Weather-proof, durable lights for accent or illumination. This is my second string of these lights. I purchased my first string four months earlier (Apr2020). All 15 bulbs in the first string worked out of the box and 12 have been burning bright for 6 hours every day for the past 10 months. There was no variation in brightness between bulbs. That string runs down the middle of my 23’ x 14’ patios and provides excellent illumination. This new string also came with 15 working bulbs and no variation between bulbs. 12 bulbs have been burning bright for 6 hours each night as accent lighting in wall hanging planters: until late October they were watered along with the plantings every other day. It is now winter and all 24 lights are still working despite heavy snow, ice, and a run of 7 days with high temps 6-21F.These bulbs are not weatherproof. After the first rain many of the bulbs were ⅓ to ½ filled with water. After 3 months of occasional use, over ¾ of the bulbs are out. I am very disappointed with this product.5 times and how long it worked. Tried contacting seller, received no response. All I wanted was them to send over another plugin, that's where the problem was detected because it encountered some water?? Cmon, these are meant for outdoors. Very disappointedLights work fine. It was supposed to come with a user manual, a dimmer and and extra bulb but didn’t. I’m disappointed because I bought it for the remote dimmer.I like to add a little light to my gazebo and around my side porch. These lights are wonderful for what I had in mind and look great.I really like the lights and especially glad I bought 4 sets as a couple lightbulbs either didn't work or were too bright
